Here you’ll find a list of beautifully uncommon baby girl names. There is a list of unisex names to consider too.
Have you been thinking about baby names? Good. Naming your children is a big responsibility.
In my last position as a newborn screening chemist, I was part of a team required to scan baby names and demographics into a large database. As a result, I got to see the names that thousands of parents had chosen for their children, I was constantly intrigued and curious.
Of course, there were the popular baby names but there were also some unique baby names. In both cases, I often wondered if there was a story, an ancestor, or an experience that led to the final naming decision.
I wondered why some parents would saddle their children with names like ‘Marvelous (first name) Dick (last name)’. I didn’t see this one personally but former co-workers assure me that it exists.
I suppose there are few wrong names to give a child but there are many names that are strong, meaningful, and thoughtful. What will you choose?

And, while names are not ‘permanent‘ because they can be changed, the first name you give your child is likely the name they will use for their entire life. Choose thoughtfully.
