You gave birth! Is the hard part over? Nope. For many women, including myself, healing physically and mentally after giving birth is equally or more challenging. Also, some new mamas are faced with having to go back to work within days or weeks due to financial challenges. Having a plan and a support system for this time is invaluable!
If you have access to paid maternity leave, quality affordable childcare, meal prep resources, and friends/family ready to help with the baby and household chores, then count yourself blessed. If you have not thought about these things, don’t wait! Before you give birth is the best time to make these considerations.
