Hello.
It’s day three of the journaling challenge. How are you? I am expecting that you are well. If you aren’t I’m disappointed. Why? Well, that’s how expectations work.
- We create them (or allow others to create them for us).
- Then, we expect people and life to abide by those expectations.
- When expectations aren’t met, we often experience negative emotions.
Since we know this is the process, I invite you to consider what expectations you have for your pregnancy and birth. Consider where these expectations come from and what you can do to help them become reality. Then, if you want to go even deeper, consider writing how you think* you will respond if your expectations aren’t met.
*Your thoughts cause your actions.
Oh. And, I didn’t forget to call you beautiful. I wanted to end with this:
“You get to decide that you are beautiful.”
Even if your hair is a mess and you are wearing that ugly comfy outfit. 😉
